The Mane Thing!

I'm obsessed with hair accessories, especially headbands. I have them in every possible design and colour you can imagine.

Some people have shoe fetish, I just have headband fetish. Headband is the perfect accessory for a bad-hair-day. I have naturally thick hair that will make any hair stylist goes insane. My bad-hair-day is everyday.

Headbands with huge bows and flowers like those in the show, Gossip Girl has inspired me to make my own. Well, I don't really make them, I just spice up a 2 ringgit blah headband. It takes 15 minutes max to create one. It's a no brainer.

Step 1: Prepare all materials needed such as scissors, super glue, ribbons, and a blah headband

Step 2: Wrap the wide ribbon (colour of your choice) around the blah headband





and you'll get this:



Step 3: Wrap a second layer of ribbon (thin) sparsely around the headband



Step 4: Glue on the decorative flower of your choice.

You can either make your own decorative flower or buy a ready made one. Voila! You have a pretty headband.

I love this headband more than any other designer headband I've bought because it has something that no other headband has. It's that personal touch! I've made a few other varieties in my favourite colours, pink and lavender. Try it, the possiblity is endless!

I wouldn't need a Jennifer Behr headband anymore. :)
