Last weekend, we celebrated the birthdays of two people who are dearest to me, Alvin & Veron at once. I reserved an executive suite in the heart of the city for 2 nights so that Alvin and I got to spend some quiet time together. Ironic? Yes! Despite being in the city center, the weekend was still a relaxing one because we didn't even have to leave the hotel. We ordered take-out from GoGourmet and chilled in the bathtub with a bottle of the high-maintenance pinot noir. Pure decadence!

We met Veron, Calvin and the rest at Luna Bar. At night, the roof-top pool of the hotel is transformed into the coolest hang-out place fit for any stylish KLite. I've always wanted to go to Luna Bar but since I'm not a party girl who is into drinking, I never found an excuse to hit the place.

A birthday celebration is never complete without a cake (or cakes). I got them customized overly sweet (literally) cup cakes which says "Happy B'day Veron And Ken" instead of the conventional and boring birthday cake. Although he's so accustomed to people calling him Alvin, I like calling him by his chinese name because if he's Ken, then it makes me a Barbie. :)
