Sugar & Spice. All Things Nice. That's what my blog is all about. It's a channel to share all the wonderful things in life according to me. In my blog, you'll find posts on travel, dining, fashion and beauty. I started out blogging on personal stuff like spending time with family and friends but over the years, my blog has evolved. Recently, I started to blog more on things I'm really passionate about, which are fashion and photography. I'm not a professional when it comes to fashion styling but I know what I like and I hope you'll like it too.
Where do I get my fashion scoop from?
I read Malaysian Harper's Bazaar, Nylon, Jalouse, French Vogue & Elle religiously. I spend most of my free time stalking lookbook.nu and the sartorialist.blogspot.com.
Where do I shop?
I can shop anywhere from Zara and Topshop for highstreet style to Ebay for vintage items. It has to be H&M for clothes and Sephora for beauty products when I'm abroad.
My favourite designer labels?
When it comes to designer labels, I like them French. Hermes. Chanel. Yves Saint Laurent. Christian Dior. Well, actually it's a never ending list of Marc Jacobs, Zac Posen, Proenza Schouler, Isaac Mizrahi.....
Jewelry? Tiffany of course! And Oh Yes! I'm a devil who wears Prada.
What's my style?
I don't stick to a certain style. I can sport an all preppy look in a Ralph Lauren cable knit sweater one day and a sophisticated look in a 4 inch stiletto the next.
What are the essential staples in my wardrobe?
Something versatile like a crisp white shirt with French cuffs, black satin blazer and diamond studs.
What are my beauty must-haves?
Glycolic Acid Solution 10% and Tretinoin Cream.
What make-up products I can't live without?
Nars blusher, Chanel liquid eyeliner and nail polish in every hue.
What is my signature scent?
Chanel No.5. Recently, I've grown to love the Chanel Chance Alvin got for me. Other favourites include Annick Goutal Petite Cherie and Carolina Herrera.
When am I happiest?
I appreciate rolling on a 600 thread count Egyptian cotton bed sheet and drinking ice cold Evian mineral water from a Bohemia crystal glass as much as I appreciate waking up to the smell of French toast made by Alvin. Another simple pleasure in life? A nice dinner with my family never fail to put a smile on my face.
